James Gordon police and the newly elected District Attorney Harvey Dent, Batman raises the stakes in his war on crime by proposing to dismantle the remaining criminal groups plaguing the streets. Society is effective until the mob drags the fight to prevent a criminal lunatic known as "Joker" unleashed a reign of chaos would plunge Gotham into anarchy.
